Miami FC out of the playoffs.

The Blues season will end on a disappointing note as they are out of any playoff hopes. A loss and a tie is all they could come up with on their 2 game road trip. Miami Ultras and a few staff met at Fritz & Franz Bierhaus in Coral Gables on Friday night to watch the Charleston Battery vs our Miami FC Blues in a match that was a must win.
Unfortunately all the Ultras could do was sit back drink their beers and laugh at the goal that eliminated us from any playoff hopes. Miami FC defender Gale Agbossoumonde missed a clearance of the ball which in turn went between keeper Kenny Schoeni's legs. It was a moment that we all commented pretty much felt like the appropriate end to a season full of mistakes.
But you be the judge and let me know what you think. Also check out the goal by Aaron King on the same video right after:

Believe it or not rumor has it the TOA are in discussions with MLS. Where this will lead we will see...
Nevertheless the Miami Ultras have started a campaign to bring MLS to Miami.
Eventually we will make it bigger but for now all Miami Fans need to go here:

GET TO WORK MIAMI!!!MLS WILL SUCCEED IN MIAMI.

Miami Fusion forever said...

If Traffic don't what to move to MLS screw them. Let some other investor like Claure bring Miami MLS. I am tired of the USL low budget semi-pro soccer. Its time Miami get back what was ripped from the hearts of soccer fans. Lets unite and bring MLS to Miami.

Jose Luis
The San Jose Earthquakes should have been contracted and not the Miami Fusion. We need a team back in Miami. USL is not what soccer fans want in Miami.

Juan
Now that would be interesting if MLS does move San Jose to Miami. Miami has FIU stadium ready.

Son of a Pitch
If Garber wants a team in the South before he hits twenty, Atlanta and Miami are his best bets. But with an Atlanta-based company owning the USL, I think Miami's the only option he's got left.

Diego
I agree Son of a Pitch. I think NuRock Soccer Holdings did a big favor to Miami. Gaber best option for a team in the south is MIAMI.

Sepp B.
Everything about MFC sucks. The fans, the owners, the original stadium. Traffic is doing a terrible job. I've seen Miami FC advertising boards at random games in Latin America. WTF? Either Traffic spent some rather bad cash on cheap adverts or they just went ahead and plunked MFC billboards on tournaments they already own/organize...meaning it didn't cost them $ outside making the damn boards. That's just one example. Then there's the fans. Half of them are too prissy and snooty to go to matches because "USL is a terrible league" and they won't go "unless it's MLS" bs. The other half is too busy pretending to be an ultras group, making up rumors about MLS expansion to Miami and making up silly chants to actually support the damn club. Miami Ultras claim 300 members, yet there only seems to be 20 of yous on average at any given game.

I used to go to MFC games back when they were at Tropical Park (what a joke). The last straw was that Orange Bowl game that was really poorly attended. I admit I was excited over "Miami FC Barca". Then I had to move away to the DC area for a job. Imagine my surprise when read online that Miami FCB went bust, that MFC also folded and that this season average attendence at our home fields is in the hundreds. Now that I'm back home I hope to make the final few matches to see the last breaths of pro football in Miami before it likely will die because Traffic or ProRock Suckers or whoever bought USL couldn't make football work in a market where it should have. Again.

MIAMI ULTRAS
Sepp B. YOU ARE THE WORSE TYPE OF FANS ! DO YOU GO TO EVERY HOME GAME? Yes you are right the Ultras do have 300 members, but only 10-20 do go to every game. We are trying to improve that. We do want the best soccer whether USL or MLS.

Miami if you want MLS you need to get off your ass. If you are happy with USL then do nothing.it is my opinion I don't live in Miami., but I do want to see you guys get a team. Its good that you have a season tickets dedications, but is not going to get the attention until you get lots of numbers. I like the article and i agree that the Earthquakes should move to Miami were they will do great.

HEY ULTRAS!! Do you want MLS in Miami? Well go and get it. sitting down and wishing for it will not do it. Check Seattle and Toronto and Philadelphia that's the way to do ti, Do you guys have it.

Philly is really the only one who "went out and got it". The Sons of Ben were a major factor there. Toronto and Seattle had USL support that was bad. That was purely investors stepping up with good plans. We Ultras do our best to get out and spread the MLS word. It's everyone else who has yet to come aboard who has been the problem.

FIRE MIAMI FC!! HIRE MLS.

Miami need to get MLS before Garber stops expansion. If we can find interested investors we have a great change to get the last expansion slot. Good to see MLS articles.
