THERE IS ALREADY A SOUTH FLORIDA STRIKERS PRO TEAM! Its in the Womens Professional Soccer League. If we use SFS as our name, we may have opened a can of worms the size of texas with a wallet just as large as traffics.

SO whats the deal with the Women's team? Are you saying the owners are as wealthy as Traffic?
Do they have the rights to the name?
If so then I guess they might just have to call themselves "Strikers" or "FT Lauderdale Strikers"

Miami is the true spirit and culture of South Florida. We need MLS.
I don't want the FTL Strikers name associated with a team that cannot even average a win a month. The Strikers were an institution.
I would rather be left without professional soccer than have to deal with another season like this one. Then someone can come on in and do it right in a few years and use the Strikers name.
