Another one bites the dust, Jack Traynor to AC St Louis

AC St Louis signs Jack Traynor. For details go HERE
Traynor was drafted in the second round of the 2009 MLS SuperDraft by the New York Red Bulls, but was not offered a contract by the team.
After an unsuccessful trial with Aalesunds FK in Norway, Traynor signed with Miami FC of the USL First Division. He made his professional debut on April 26, 2009, coming on as a substitute in Miami's game against Rochester Rhinos.

I haven't really kept count but I believe this is the third player Miami FC has lost to other NASL teams. The first was Zourab "Zee" Tsiskaridze who has signed with the Vancouver Whitecaps. Then it was Aaron King who will now play for rivals Tampa Bay Rowdies!

We continue to hear the progress of other teams in the league, many setting up pre-season games versus MLS teams... Fans are happy with the announcement of Zach Kirby's return, but so far we only know we have 2 players on the roster and no coach announcement as we don't know if Zinho will be returning. We hope Miami FC can start signing players soon before they are all taken from under their noses and we are left with a High School squad.

Invitational Tryouts
In case you didn't know Miami FC is Holding Invitational Tryouts right now at Ted Hendricks Stadium, beginning Feb. 12 and ending Feb. 14.

Open tryouts will take place on Feb. 20 and 21 at Weston Regional Park. For more information visit www.miamifc.com, or register at the following link.

Not Happy with Miami FC said...

Miami FC sucks!!!! They are a joke. It's a High School soccer program and not a pro soccer team. Teams are already playing friendly games vs MLS team. and Miami nothing.

Uncle Ed,Can some one bring us MLS? We need help.

it just show you that Traffic/Miami FC just don't get it.

We can not play friendlys with only 2 players signed. With everything St. Louis and Tampa Bay are doing I doubt the MLS will even consider us.
We need to better than last in the league attendence before the MLS takes notice.

If Traffic/Miami FC does not put up a team that wins and do a better job in all area fans will not show up.

Yep we have "true" soccer fans in Miami "rolls eyes"

Fans can only put up with so much... Everything Traffic does proves that they are only interested in selling players and not fielding a great team that will attract fans.

Maybe its time for Traffic to put people who actually want this team to succeed at the helm because the guys in charge now are only alienating the fans with their bad judgment.

I'm not wasting my time with Miami FC anymore. I want MLS to come to FIU Stadium or Sun Life Stadium. In the meantime I will check out the PDL team at the Cricket Stadium in Lauderhill. They probably will have twice the quality of Human Traffic FC.

Union, FC Dallas to play
The final phase of the Union's inaugural training camp is scheduled to take place in Tampa, Fla., where they will play a preseason match against FC Dallas, probably during the second week of March.

First reported by FC Dallas' blog site "3rd Degree," the meeting with the Union will be in lieu of a planned trip to Europe or Brazil, curtailed due to cost and the ongoing collective-bargaining talks between Major League Soccer and the players union. FC Dallas will host the Union and the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League (NASL), which has been revived as the Division 2 pro soccer initiative in this country, similar to the divisional leagues in European countries.

***** Miami FC to play pre-season against the Union at FIU stadium and they will probably also play FC Dallas.

Awesome! Play at FIU Stadium so some players can get hurt on the turf before the real season starts.

If FIU is the best Miami has to offer, you guys should NEVER get futbol again.
